LIRIK LAGU LASS UNS GEHEN SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA BAHASA JERMAN SMA

Abstract

German is a cross-interest foreign language subject taught at the senior high school level in Indonesia. For
beginners German learners need an ability to understand vocabulary and grammar in order to understand a
reading, one of which is reading skills. In addition, media is also needed to motivate students in enjoying
the learning process, one of which is through song lyrics. This scientific article uses a qualitative approach
that is literature study. The formulation of the problem studied is “how is the suitability of the lyrics of the
Lass Uns Gehen song for learning media for learning German reading skills for class XII in the senior high
school”.The purpose of compiling this scientific article is to determine whether or not the lyrics of the song
entitled Lass Uns Gehen are used as a medium for learning reading skills in German subjects for class XII
in the senior high school. The lyrics of the song titled Lass Uns Gehen by Revolverheld are the objects
analyzed in this article. The results of the analysis show that the lyrics of the song Lass Uns Gehen are
included in the learning media in the form of text that can be used in German reading skills in the senior
high school, and can be used as reading material, which contains several German learning materials that
have been adapted based on the 2013 Curriculum in the form of Wortschatz and Redemittel with the theme
Urlaub. This media is suitable to be applied to the step of scientific learning modeled with Problem Based
Learning.
