Analisis Kesesuaian Isi Materi Video „Deutsch Lernen mit Jens und seinen Freunden Vol. 2, Wir machen Picknick“ di Youtube Sebagai Bahan Ajar Keterampilan Menyimak Kelas XII Semester 1

Abstract

Listening comprehension skill is one of the language skills that requires high concentration and
understanding. But that does not mean that listening comprehension skill cannot be practiced in a fun way.
According to the 2013 Curriculum, the educators must make the best use of technological developments in
the learning process. Therefore it makes perfect sense to use Youtube in practicing listening comprehension
skill, besides using Youtube can make the learning process more fun and efficient because the videos that
are available on Youtube can be accessed anytime and anywhere. The RheintalTV Youtubechannel provides
various videos for learning German, one of which is “Deutsch Lernen mit Jens und seinen Freunden Vol.
2, Wirmachen Picknik". But of course the aspects in the video must be adjusted first before used as an
alternative teaching material for practicing listening skills. The formulation of the problem in this research
is what is the suitability of the content of the Video "Deutsch Lernen mit Jens undseinen Freunden Vol. 2,
Wirmachen Picknick“ as an alternative material for learning German to practice listening comprehension
skill. In order to find the suitability, the purpose of this research is to describe the results of the analysis of
the video “Deutsch lernen mit Jens und seinen Freunden Vol. 2, Wirmachen Picknick” which is the main
data source in this research as an alternative teaching material to practice listening comprehension skills in
class XII semester 1 to achieve the learning goals and outcomes basedon the syllabus and 2013 Curriculum.
In the process of analysis, the data will be analyzed using Prastowo's theory of criteria for selecting teaching
materials from the results of the literature study. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded
that the video “Deutsch lernen mit Jens und seinen Freunden Vol. 2, Wir machen Picknick” has met the
criterias for selecting teaching materials and can be used as alternative teaching materials in practicing
German listening skills for class XII SMA.
