KESESUAIAN MATERI APLIKASI DEUTSCHTRAINER A1 DENGAN KURIKULUM 2013 KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA KELAS XI SEMESTER 1

Abstract

Language plays a vital part in communication. German is the most studied language. In learning German, a
language expertise is exceptionally important. One of these skills is reading skill. In improving the reading
skills of students in learning German, there is a need for a media. One of the educational application media
that can help improve German learning is the Deutschtrainer A1 application. The Deutschtrainer A1
application was chosen because it has various advantages to improve students’ German learning in reading
skills and this application is also recommended by German teacher. This article uses a qualitative form of
literature study as an approach. After that, the formulation of the problem in this discussion is “Is the
application material of Deutschtrainer A1 in accordance with the 2013 curriculum of reading skills for
class XI semester 1.” After that, this study aimed to prove the suitability of the material in the
Deutschtrainer A1 application with the learning material needs of students according to the 2013
curriculum KD 3.2 class XI semester 1. This article analyses 3 sub-chapters in the Deutschtrainer A1
application which has the theme Gesundheit, Meine Familie und ich, and Lisas Neue Wohnung which are
in accordance with the themes contained in KD 3.2 curriculum 2013. Then the application Deutschtrainer
A1 is also in accordance with the learning materials in the form of Wortschatz and Grammatic based on the
2013 curriculum KD 3.2 reading skills for class XI semester 1. After that the application of Deutschtrainer
A1 can also be used as a learning medium because it is appropriate to the idea of mastering media criteria
by Arsyad.
