ANALISIS VIDEO YOUTUBE SHORT "LEARN GERMAN FAST" SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA BAHASA JERMAN KELAS XI SMAN 12 SURABAYA SEMESTER II

Abstract

Speaking skill is a very important skill in learning a foreign language. Therefore, innovative learning media are needed to help students. YouTube Short "Learn German Fast" is an alternative that can be used as a learning media, considering that most young people like using YouTube. YouTube Short provides various kinds of German learning content that can be accessed anytime, anywhere. As for the problem formulation of this study is how appropriateness of the content in Youtube Shorts channel “Learn German Fast” as a learning media for German speaking skills towards class XI students in State Senior High School 12 Surabaya 2nd semester? The purpose of this study is to determine the suitability of the content in YouTube Shorts channel "Learn German Fast" as a learning media for German speaking skills towards class XI students in State Senior High School 12 Surabaya 2nd semester. This study used a qualitative method with literature review type, with the data sources used, namely five videos from the YouTube Short "Learn German Fast". The videos are then analyzed based on the suitability criteria of syllabus curriculum 2013 class XI 2nd semester. The video from the YouTube Short channel “Learn German Fast” is used as a data source which is then analyzed using content analysis techniques with the stages of data reduction, data display, and then conclusion drawing. The results of the analysis obtained from the first video to the fifth video show the suitability level of 86%, 63%, 65%, 65%, and 84% respectively so that it can be concluded that the YouTube Short "Learn German Fast" is suitable as learning media for speaking skills towards class XI student in 2nd semester.
