Abstract

Blooket is an interactive learning platform in the form of a game-quiz website that serves as a media for
learning. The research’s background is about the creation of exercise questions that can facilitate students,
especially 11th-grade students in the second semester, to access easily exercise questions with the Theme
"Tägliche Aktivitäten" in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for
Languages (GER). This research has problem formulations on how the process of developing reading
comprehension questions for German language skills in 11th-grade students of high school in the second
semester using the Blooket platform, and how the process of assessing the validity of the material and the
platform. The aims of this study are to comprehend the process of creating exercise questions for German
language reading comprehension skills among 11th-grade high school students in the second semester,
utilizing the Blooket platform, and to evaluate the material and platform's validity. The utilized research
framework in this investigation follows the Research and Development (R&D) approach, as described by
Borg and Gall (in Sugiyono, 2012). This methodology comprises four key phases : identifying potential
and problems, gathering data, designing the product, and conducting expert validation. The exercise
questions obtained a validation percentage of 81.04%, indicating that these exercise questions are highly
suitable for training students' reading comprehension skills with a Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)
level, according to GER categories. As for the media validation questionnaire, a percentage of 76.78%
was obtained, indicating that the Blooket platform is suitable for learning media.
