Abstract

German writing skill is a competency that must be achieved by students in class XI IPA 5 at SMAN 1 Tarik. However, writing is one of the most complex skills because it requires writers to organize their thoughts in a logical and structured manner while adhering to specific writing rules. Based on observations, it is evident that students in IPA 5 often encounter difficulties in writing and understanding the structure of German writing. This can be attributed to a lack of knowledge regarding writing structure. Hence, teachers require innovative learning methods to assist students in improving their writing skills. The learning method employed in this study is the ranking one game method. The research problem formulated for this study is "How is the implementation of the ranking one game method and what are the learning outcomes in German descriptive writing skills for class XI IPA 5 students at SMA Negeri 1 Tarik in coordinative conjunction material?" The objective of this study is to describe the implementation of the ranking one game method and analyze the learning outcomes of German descriptive writing skills for class XI IPA 5 students at SMA Negeri 1 Tarik in coordinative conjunction material through the ranking one game method. This research adopts a qualitative approach to describe the implementation process and students' learning outcomes in the form of descriptive writing. The results indicate that the ranking one game method can significantly enhance students' understanding and writing skills in coordinative conjunctions.
