Language skills refer to a person's ability to express the purpose of using language in accordance with linguistics or language rules. In the case of German language, there are 4 key skills: namely Writing, listening, reading and speaking.Among these, writing, is considered the most challenging to learn because it requires the support of other skills such as listening, speaking and reading. German is a complex language and it has only been introduced to student in grade XI for SMAN 1 Driyorejo. However the teaching of German language at SMAN 1 Driyorejo still predominantly follow a 2 way approach, where teacher deliver lesson in class and students listen to the explanations, with limited use of application. The purpose of implementing this application is to examine how the Deutsch für Kinder application is used in grade XI classes at SMAN 1 Driyorejo and to assess the learning outcomes of the students. The research method employed was qualitative. The findings include observation sheets, gap tests with the theme kennenlernen, and student questionnaires. The learning outcomes were generally positive, with a score of 33 in each session and a 75% completion rate on the observation sheet. In the gap test, 31 students achieved mastery in the first session, and 23 students did so in the second session. According to the student questionnaire, 62.5% of respondents had positive view of application. The results of the test and questionnaires indicated that the Deutsch für Kinder application was quite beneficial for students in grade XI at SMAN 1 Driyorejo.
