PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS GIMKIT TEMA FERIEN UND URLAUB UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MENYIMAK BAHASA JERMAN SISWA SMA KELAS 11

This study aims to describe the development process and feasibility of a Gimkit-based learning medium on the theme Ferien und Urlaub for German listening (Hörfertigkeit) instruction for eleventh-grade senior high school students. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, limited to three stages: Analysis, Design, and Development. Learning needs were identified through classroom observation and interviews with a German teacher at SMAN 2 Sidoarjo. The findings indicated that students experienced difficulties in understanding detailed information from German audio materials. The developed product is an interactive Gimkit-based learning medium containing 15 listening comprehension questions in the form of multiple-choice, true-false, and fill-in-the-blank items, supported by German audio recordings created using FineVoice. The media was evaluated by a subject matter expert and a media expert using a Likert-scale questionnaire. The validation results showed feasibility scores of 98% (highly suitable) from the subject matter expert and 86% (feasible) from the media expert. Therefore, the developed learning medium is considered feasible as a supporting medium for German listening instruction.
