Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) learning model assisted by Pixton digital media on the German language learning creativity of Grade XII students at SMA Negeri 1 Driyorejo. This study used a quantitative approach with a Quasi Experimental Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample consisted of 26 experimental class students (XII-9) and 27 control class students (XII-8) selected through purposive sampling. The instrument was a 20-item learning creativity questionnaire (Likert scale) with validity and reliability (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.860) confirmed. Data analysis used normality tests, homogeneity tests, T-Welch test, and N-Gain test. Results showed the experimental class posttest mean (82) was higher than the control class (72). The T-Welch test produced sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05, meaning H₀ was rejected, indicating a significant difference in learning creativity. The N-Gain of the experimental class was 0.31 (medium category) and the control class 0.07 (low category). Therefore, the PjBL model assisted by Pixton is proven effective in improving students’ German language learning creativity.
