STRUCTURAL PLANNING MODIFICATION OF BUILDING USING COMPOSITE STEEL-CONCRETE WITH HIGH EARTHQUAKE RISK

Abstract

Multi-storey buildings are one of the supporting infrastructure facilities for an area, the use of multi
storey buildings as offices can be a solution to the limited availability of land in an area. Planning and
construction of multi-storey buildings must be carried out with the right method and structural system so that the
building structure system can withstand all working loads. This plan will plan an office building consisting of 5
floors with the replacement of the original structural system using reinforced concrete to a special moment
bearing composite concrete steel frame structural system (SRPMK) to allow for increased loading capacity and
stiffness in areas with high earthquake risk. From the analysis and calculation process that has been carried out,
the results are obtained in the form of roof and floor slabs using concrete and bondek with a thickness of 120 mm,
the profile of the B3 roof beam and the B3 floor beam using WF396.199.7.11 shear connector D19-25 mm, the
main staircase using concrete with D10-150 mm main reinforcement, D8-200 mm shrinkage reinforcement,
Bordes beam profile, B1 beam profile WF582.300.12.17 shear connector D19-12 mm and column profiles using
900.1000 mm concrete with WF700.300.13.24 steel. So the conclusion of this research is that the composite
concrete steel frame structural system is safe to withstand all loads acting on office buildings applied in areas
with high earthquake risk.
