PENERAPAN MODEL KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI LUAS BANGUN DATAR PADA MATA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA KELAS V SDN BULAK RUKEM I/258 SURABAYA

Abstract

Abstrak: Pembelajaran matematika adalah proses pemberian pengalaman belajar kepada siswa melalui serangkaian kegiatan yang terencana sehingga siswa memperoleh kompetensi tentang bahan matematika yang dipelajari. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 3 September 2012 terhadap pembelajaran geometri luas bangun datar kelas V SDN Bulak Rukem I/258 Surabaya diperoleh informasi sebagai berikut : 1) 17 siswa dari 30 orang atau 56,7% mendapat nilai diatas KKM, 2) 13 siswa dari 30 orang atau 43,3% mendapat nilai di bawah KKM. Adapun KKM bidang studi matematika yang ditetapkan oleh sekolah sebesar 70. Hal ini disebabkan pada saat guru menjelaskan materi aktivitas belajar siswa pasif, siswa hanya duduk mendengarkan penjelasan guru, jarang terjadi interaksi guru dengan siswa (siswa tidak merespon pertanyaan dari guru bahkan tidak bertanya pada saat guru memberikan kesempatan untuk bertanya), jarang terjadi interaksi belajar antara siswa dalam kerja kelompok atau diskusi. Hasil pelaksanaan pada siklus I adalah persentase aktivitas guru sebesar 62,5%, aktivitas siswa sebesar 77% dan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 73,3%. Sedangkan hasil pelaksanaan pada siklus II adalah persentase aktivitas guru sebesar 91,1%, aktivitas siswa sebesar 87% dan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 93,3% serta angket respon siswa sebesar 90%. Berdasarkan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar siswa dan respon siswa menunjukkan peningkatan yang baik setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD.

Abstract: Study of Mathematics is process of gift of experience learn to student through with refer network the activity which terencana so that the student obtain;get interest about substance of mathematics learned. Pursuant to result of observation early executed at date of 3 September 2012 to study of mathematics of class of V SDN Bulak Rukem I/258 Surabaya obtained a the following information 1) 17 student from 30 people or 56,7% getting above value [of] KKM 2) 13 student from 30 people or 43,3% getting value below/under KKM. As for KKM of area study mathematics specified by school equal to 70. This matter is caused at the (time) of teacher explain items of activity learn passive student, student only sit to listen teacher clarification, seldom be happened by the interaction learn with student ( student do  not merespon of question from teacher even do not ask to moment of teacher give opportunity to enquire), seldom be happened by the interaction learn [among/between] student in team-work or discussion. Result of execution cycle I is activity percentage learn equal to 62,5%, student activity equal to 77% and result of learning student equal to 73,3%. While execution result at cycle II is activity percentage learn equal to 91,1%, student activity equal to 87% and result of learning student equal to 93,3% and also enquette respon student  equal to 90%.  Pursuant to this research indicate that teacher activity, student activity, result of learning student and respon of student show good improvement after using model of study of co-operative of type STAD.
