PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN ILMU PENGETAHUAN SOSIAL KELAS IV DI SD MARDISIWI TAMBAKSARI SURABAYA

Abstract

Abstrak:Dengan berkembangnya ilmu pengetahuan dan tehnologi diera globalisasi  kita sebagai guru memiliki kewajiban  untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dan strategi dalam pembelajaran harus ada perubahan menuju kemajuan Proses pembelajaran konvensional (tradisional) harus diubah menjadi pembelajaran yang inovatif yang diantaranya pembelajaran kooperatif. Salah satu pembelajaran kooperatif yaitu model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Jigsaw yaitu model pembelajaran kelompok dengan keheterogen anggota kelompok berdasarkan prestasi akademik . Dengan model pembelajaran ini diharapkan mutu pendidikan dapat ditingkatkan tanpa membuat siswa bosan dan jenu dengan proses pembelajaran. Masalah yang diajuk adalah “Bagaimana penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Jigsaw pada pembelajaran IPS kelas IV SD Mardisiwi Tambaksari Surubaya ?”. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Mardisiwi Tambaksari Surabaya yang berjumlah 16 siswa yang terdiri dari 7 siswa perempuan dan 9 siswa laki – laki. Materi yang digunakan adalah menunjukkan jenis dan persebaran, sumber daya alam serta pemanfaatannya untuk kegiatan ekonomi di lingkungan setempat.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, tes kemampuan dengan instrumen l embar observasi aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa,tes hasil belajar siswa terhadap rekan sejawat/observer. Hasil analisis data lembar observasi aktivitas guru menunjukkan sangat baik dengan presentase 85sedangkan aktivitas siswa mencapai 93,75%. Selain itu data dan analisis tes hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I, siklus II dan siklus IIIdengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Jigsaw menunjukkan peningkatan dari nilai rata – rata 57,75 menjadi 64,25dan77,56, pada siklus III.Berdasarkan penelitian ini mununjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran jigsaw dapat diterapkan pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas IV, dibuktikan dengan presentase aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I, siklus II dan siklus III mengalami peningkatan

Abstract: With the development of science and technology in the globalization as teachers have duty to improve the quality of education and learning strategies and it should be a change in the  progress the learning process of conventional (traditional) should be transformed in tolearning inovatif which include learning cooperatif. One type of cooperative learning is type jigsaw namely the group learning type heterogen with group members based on academic achievement . With the type of this learning can be improved the quality of education without making students boring with the learning process.Problem posed is "How was the application of Cooperative learning Jigsaw type in the fourth grade social lesson learning in elementary school Mardisiwi Tambaksari Surabaya?". The target of this study were fourth grade students Mardisiwi Tambaksari Surabaya. There were 16 students consisting of 7 girls and 9 boys. Material is used showing the type and distribution, natural resources and useful for economic activitiesin the local environment.The collection techniques research was used observation, test the ability of the instrument observation sheet activities of teachers and student activities, evalution to the peers/observer. The result of analysis research were observation sheet of activity teachers were very good with 85%while thepercentage of student activity reached 93,75%. Besides that analyzes test research and the result of evalution in the first section, second section and the third section by applying the jigsaw learning show the increase of the valuean average of 57,75 to 64,25 and77,56 in the third section. Based on these study show that the learning jigsaw type can be applied tothe fourth grade in social lesson, as evidenced by the percentageof student activity and the result of evalution student in the first cycle, second cycle and third cycle has increased
