PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LERNING PADA SISWA KELAS V SD NEGERI POJOKREJO I JOMBANG

Abstract

Abstrak: Berdasarkan latar belakang bahwa IPS merupakan ilmu universal yang mendasari perkembangan teknologi modern, mempunyai peran penting dalam berbagai disiplin ilmu, dan memajukan daya pikir manusia.Menurut Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (BSNP) 2006, dalam Standar Isi Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP) Sekolah Dasar (SD) Mata pelajaran IPS, Siswa kelas V SD Semester 1 seharusnya mampu menyelesaikan materi kenampakan Alam Dan Buatan Di Indonesia. pada siswa kelas V SDN Pojokrejo 01 Jombang.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa selama proses pembelajaran, dan pemahaman konsep materi Kenampakan alam dan buatan di Indonesia mata pelajaran IPS  pada siswa kelas V SDN  Pojokrejo 01Jombang.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif yang menggunakan alat pengumpulan  datanya dengan observasi, dan tes. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Penelitan Tindakan Kelas (PTK).Hasil Penelitian mengalami dari siklus yang satu ke siklus selanjutnya. Persentase keberhasilan aktivitas guru pada siklus I 71,1 %, dan pada siklus II 86,8%. Persentase keberhasilan aktivitas siswa pada siklus I 63,8% dan pada siklus II 83,8%. Persentase siswa yang memiliki pemahaman konsep berkategori baik pada siklus I 47,8 %, dan pada isiklus II 82 %. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media Model Pembelajaran Problem based Learning dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep kenampakan Alam Dan Buatan Di Indonesia  mata pelajaran  IPS pada siswa kelas V SDN Pojokrejo I Jombang.

Abstract: Based on the background that thesocial sciences is a universal science that underlies the development of modern technology , has an important role in various disciplines , and advance the thinking power manusia.Menurut National Education Standards Agency ( BSNP ) 2006 , the Curriculum Content Standards Unit Level Curriculum (SBC ) Primary School ( SD ) Eye social studies , fifth grade elementary school students should be able to finish Semester 1 Natural And Artificial material appearance at the fifth grade students of SDN 01 Pojokrejo Jombang .The purpose of this study was to determine the activity of the teacher and student activity during the learning process , and understanding the concept of natural and artificial materials appearance in Indonesian social studies in fifth grade students ofSDNPojokrejo01Jombang.The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method that uses a data collection tool with observation , and testing . This study uses a Class Action Design Research ( CAR). The results of the study suffered from one cycle to the next cycle . The percentage of success of teacher activity in the first cycle 71.1 % , and 86.8 % in the second cycle . The percentage of successful students in the first cycle activity 63.8 % and 83.8 % in the second cycle . Percentage of students who have a good understanding of the concepts categorized 47.8 % in the first cycle , and the second isiklus 82 % . This suggests that the use of media -based Learning Model Learning Problems can improve the appearance of understanding the concept of Natural And Artificial In Indonesia, social studies in fifth grade students of SDN Pojokrejo I Jombang .
