PENGGUNAAN MEDIA GAMBAR DALAM MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK KELAS III SDN KREMBANGAN SELATAN I/12 SURABAYA

Abstract

Abstrak: Pelaksanaan pembelajaran di sekolah dasar khususnya di kelas I sampai III menggunakan pembelajaran tematik. Pembelajaran tematik adalah pembelajaran terpadu yang menggunakan tema untuk mengaitkan beberapa mata pelajaran, sehingga dapat memberikan pengalaman bermakna kepada siswa. Tema  mempunyai pengertian bahwa  suatu pokok pikiran atau gagasan pokok yang menjadi pokok pembicaraan. hasil ulangan harian siswa pada materi jenis-jenis pekerjaan dan memiliki harga diri, ternyata 57% dari 25 siswa belum mencapai ketuntasan belajar. KKM  yang ditentukan adalah 70. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran tematik dan mendeskripsikan kendala-kendala yang muncul. Hasil analisis data lembar observasi aktivitas guru baik pada siklus I maupun siklus II menunjukkan peningkatan yang sangat baik. Aktivitas guru mengalami peningkatan sebesar 19,2% yaitu dari 65,4%  pada siklus I menjadi 84,6% pada siklus II. Aktivitas siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 15,7%, yaitu dari 70,7% pada siklus I menjadi 86,4% pada siklus II. Ketuntasan belajar siswa secara klasikal mengalami peningkatan sebesar 16%, yaitu dari 72% pada siklus I menjadi 88% pada siklus II. Hasil belajar siswa pada seluruh aspek telah mencapai keberhasilan. Kendala-kendala yang ada pada siklus I dan siklus II dapat diatasi dengan baik.  Berdasarkan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa dan kendala-kendala yang muncul menunjukkan peningkatan yang baik setelah menggunakan media gambar dalam model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar tematik siswa kelas III pada tema pendidikan.

Abstract: The implementation of learning in elementary school, especially in 1st grade  till 3rd grade  using thematic learning. Thematic learning is learning that use theme to relate some subjects, so it can provide meaningful experiences to students. Theme has meaning that the mind idea or the basic idea that will be the main discussion. The result of students’ daily tests  in the  kind of  jobs and have self-esteem subject materials, apparently 57% from 25 students have not achieved learning completeness. The Minimum fulfillment criteria is determined 70. The purpose of  this research is describing teachers activities,student activities, and the results of  learning in thematic learning and describing the appearance obstacles. The results of sheets - data analysis activities of teacher observation in the first cycle and second cycle showed very well improvements.The Teacher activities increased as big as 19.2% from 65.4% in the first cycle to be 84.6% in the second cycle. The Student activities increased as big as 5.7% from 70.7% in the first cycle to be 86.4% in the second cycle. The Student learning have increased complete classically as big as 16% from 72% in the first cycle to be 88% in the second cycle. The result of  Student learning in all aspects have achieved successul. The Obstacles exist in the first cycle and can be overcome in the second cycle. Based on this research is showing that The Teacher Activities, The Student Activities, The Results of  Student Learning and The Appearance Obstacles have significant improvements after using The Image Media In The Model of  Cooperative Learning STAD type to improve students’ Thematic Learning in 3rd grade in education theme .
