PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES DAN HASIL BELAJAR DENGAN PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN INKUIRI TERBIMBING DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Abstrak: Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkatdari rendahnyahasi lbelajar siswa kelas V SDN Sidokare 4 Sidoarjo pada mata pelajaran IPA, yang disebabkan guru kurang inovatif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, pembelajaran masih cenderung berlangsung secara konvensional, sehingga siswa lebih asyik mengobrol dengan teman sebangkunya dari pada mendengarkan apa yang disampaikan oleh guru. Dari refleksi pembelajaran, diketahui sebesar 62,5% siswa belum mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Oleh karena itu, peneliti menawarkan solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dalam pembelajaran IPA. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Sidokare 4 Sidoarjo sebanyak 32 yang terdiri dari 16 siswa laki-laki dan 16 siswa perempuan. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi dan tes, Data observasi kegiatan pembelajaran dianalisis dalam bentuk persentase dan nilai rata-rata kegiatan pembelajaran. Data tes hasil belajar siswa dianalisis berdasarkan persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase keterlaksanaan aktivitas guru pada siklus I sebesar 66,67% dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 93,75%. Aktivitas siswa pada siklus I sebesar 67,05% dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan  menjadi 92,05%. Untuk hasil belajar siswa  juga mengalami peningkatan, padasiklus I mencapai 78,13% dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 84,37% siswa tuntas belajar. Uji keterampilan proses juga mengalami kenaikan, pada siklus I sebesar 68,75% dan pada siklus II 93,75% siswa tuntas belajar. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh data adanya peningkatan aktivitas siswa dan guru selama siklus I dan siklus II. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses dan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN Sidokare 4 Sidoarjo.

Abstract: The background of this research comes from the low level of the learning result on the student of the fifth grade at sidokare 4 elementary school in the Science lesson, caused by the less innovation of the teacher in the learning process, it is still using the conventional way and makes the student ignore the lesson and prefer to speak one another than listen to the teacher’s explanation. From the learning reflection is known that there are 62,5% student haven’t reached the minimum finished criterion (KKM). Because of the problem the researcher offer the solution to handle it by applying a led inkuiri learning model inscience lesson.The research model which is used consisth of 2 cycles. The subject of the research is the students of the fifth grade elementary school of Sidokare 4 Sidoarjo. There are 32 students, 16 boys and 16 girls. The research data is gotten from the observationand test. The observation data is analyzed in the from of percentage and the avarage score in learning process. The test data is analyzed by the percentage of classical finished learning.The result pointed that the percentage of the implementation of the teacher’s activity in the first cycle is 66,67% an in the second cycle there is an increasingbecome 93,75%. The student’s activities in the first cycle is 67,05% and in the second cycle there is an increasing become 84,73% at the finished learning. It is also increase at the test of skill process, in the first cycle is 68,75% and in the second cycle 93,75% at the finished learning.From the result of the research the data gotten is increasing in the activity of the students and duringthe first and second cycle. From the result is concluded that the application af a led inkuiri learning model can increase the skill process and the learning result of the fifth grade student of Sidokare 4 elementary school Sidoarjo.
