PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPA TERPADU TEMA PESTISIDA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VIII SMP

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar dan respon siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD pada pokok bahasan pestisida dalam pembelajaran IPA terpadu kelas VIII SMP Plus Zainuddin Pasean Pamekasan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pra-experimental yang hanya menggunakan satu kelas yaitu kelas VIII. Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD pada pertemuan 1 dan 2 memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,25 dan 3,21 dengan kategori baik. Aktivitas siswa yang sering dilakukan selama mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran adalah meresitasi diri dan berdiskusi dalam kelompok belajar   20,84 %. Aktivitas yang paling jarang adalah membaca LKS sebesar 3,71%. Pada hasil belajar, pengujian kenormalan sampel diperoleh L_o = 0,1583 dan L_tabel = 0,1648, maka sampel dikatakan berasal dari siswa yang berdistribusi normal. Setelah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD, dilakukan post test hasil belajar siswa yang hasilnya 93,10% tuntas dengan nilai rata-rata 80, 17 dan 6,90% siswa tidak tuntas dengan nilai rata-rata 27, 37. Pengujian signifikansi mean dari perbedaan pre test dan post test diperoleh       (t_hitung = 24,98) > (t_tabel = 2,05) dengan taraf signifikansi α = 0,05. Hal ini menyatakan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dalam IPA terpadu secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar. Respons siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD pada materi pestisida sangat baik dengan persentase rata-rata siswa yang menjawab positif sebesar 91,12%.

Abstract

The objective of the study is to describe the learning implementation, students activity, learning result and student’s respons after implementing cooperative learning STAD sub topic pesticide in learning integrated science for eighth graders of Zainuddin Junior High School Pasean Pamekasan. The study is pra-experimental one. The subject are eighth graders of Junior High School. Teaching and learning by implementing the cooperative learning STAD reveals at average score 3,25 and 3,21 at the first and the second meeting. It is good category. During the meeting the students mostly paying attention and listening to teacher and gorup discussion with average score 20, 48%. In contrast the student rarely reading the work-book with average score 3, 71%. On the learning outcomes the normality test reveals that the L_o = 0,1583 and L_table = 0,1648. Based on the result it is stated that the outcome comes from students with normal distribution. After implementing the cooperative learning STAD type a post-test is given, the result are 93,10% of students passed by score  80,17 and 6,90% of students failed by score 27, 37. Test on mean significance from the difference between the pre test and the post test appeared that (t_calculation = 24, 98) > (t_table = 2,05) by average significance α = 0,05. Based on the result it reveals that students’ learning result can increase significantly by implementing the cooperative learning STAD type in teaching integrated natural science. The students’ response on the implementation of cooperative learning STAD in teaching sub topic pesticide is very good by average score 91,12%.
