HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN GIZI DAN PERILAKU MAKAN DENGAN STATUS GIZI SISWA SDN PUTAT JAYA II SURABAYA

School-age children are children who need adequate nutrition to help growth, development, and maintain health. Nutritional adequacy can be through the selection of foods related to nutritional knowledge. Nutritional knowledge affects attitudes and behaviors in the selection of food to be consumed and causes eating habits which are reflected in eating behaviors that have an impact on the nutritional status of children.The type of research used is correlational quantitative with a cross-sectional study approach. This research was conducted at SDN Putat Jaya II Surabaya. The sample of this study was 70 children in grades 4-5 and parents (Mr / Mrs) according to the inclusion criteria. Nutritional status data were obtained from weight and height calculations with direct measurements using digital scales and height taken using microtoise, nutritional knowledge data using tests, while data on children's eating behavior were obtained from using the Children's Eating Behavior Questionnaire (CEBQ), then nutritional knowledge data with nutritional status and eating behavior with nutritional status were tested using the spearman rank correlation test. Research obtained that nutritional knowledge is related to the nutritional status of children with a p-value (0.011) and eating behavior is related to the nutritional status of children with a p-value (0.003). It was obtained that there is a relationship between nutritional knowledge and eating behavior with the nutritional status of the child.Downloads
