Archiving & Digital Preservation
Jurnal Teknik Elektro (JTE) is committed to ensuring the long-term availability and accessibility of its published content. The journal uses the following preservation arrangements:
- PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): published content is deposited in the PKP Preservation Network through the OJS plugin, which provides distributed long-term preservation and triggered access if the journal ceases publication.
- LOCKSS: the journal uses the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries, permitting those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration purposes.
- Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital): article metadata and full texts are indexed and stored in the national repository managed by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.
- Institutional storage: the journal's OJS server and its data are hosted and backed up by Universitas Negeri Surabaya.
- Persistent identifiers: every article is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) with the prefix 10.26740 through Crossref, ensuring that it remains citable and locatable even if its web address changes.
Authors are also permitted and encouraged to deposit the published version of their articles in institutional or subject repositories, in accordance with the Copyright Notice
