PENGARUH GAYA BELAJAR VISUAL SISWA TERHADAP KONSENTRASI BELAJAR PADA MATA PELAJARAN SEJARAH KELAS X IPS MAN 1 GRESIK

Abstract

Learning is a complex process, in which there are many variables that affect learning achievement, one of which is the concentration of student learning. Based on observations on November 8, 2019 at MAN 1 Gresik, it shows that the concentration of student learning is in the medium category. This makes students' visual learning styles important. This study aims to explain and calculate the influence of students' visual learning style on learning concentration in history subjects in class X IPS MAN 1 Gresik. This research is a type of quantitative statistical research with a pre-experimental research method with a one-shot case study design. The subjects in this study were class X IPS 1 with a total of 37 students. Based on the effect test with simple linear regression, it shows that there is an influence with the simple linear regression equation, namely Y = 58,716 + 1,904 (X). To test the hypothesis THcount 2,510> TTable 2,04841, these results state that there is an influence between the two variables. The THcount is positive (+) and is in the receiving area of Ha, so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The significance value is 0,018 <0,05, which means that the data is significant and has a good effect. The amount of influence can be seen from the R Square in the Summary table with a value of 0,184. It can be concluded that the visual learning style has a significant positive effect on learning concentration by 18,4% so that students can accept and respond to the material presented, students become active, and do not get bored while learning.
