AVATARA e-Journal Pendidikan Sejarah is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published by the Laboratorium Rumah Sejarah, Surabaya State University, Indonesia. The journal provides a scholarly platform for lecturers, researchers, teachers, students, and education practitioners to publish original research articles, literature reviews, theoretical studies, and innovative ideas in the fields of history education and historical studies.

The journal covers a wide range of topics, including history learning models and strategies, educational media and digital technology, history curriculum and assessment, teacher professionalism, local and national history, global history, social and cultural history, historiography, historical methodology, cultural heritage, collective memory, local wisdom, and character education. AVATARA is committed to rigorously promoting academic discussion, advancing historical studies, and supporting innovation in history education. The journal is published three times a year in January, May, and September.
