PERAN GP ANSOR DALAM MENJAGA KETERTIBAN DI KABUPATEN JOMBANG PASCA PERISTIWA G30S/PKI PADA TAHUN 1965-1966

Abstract

GP Ansor has an important role for the Indonesian people, including in Jombang, East Java. Organizationally, GP Ansor in Jombang has a vital role in the community of Jombang because GP Ansor is an NU youth organization whose job it is to guard the security of NU organizations, especially NU kyai and Ahlussunnah waljamaah teachings from those who want to overthrow and destroy NU. The function of GP Ansor in Jombang is as an instrument to maintain togetherness, solidity and to affirm the commitment to continue to be of benefit to society and to protect the Indonesian nation and state from intolerance, radicalism, ideology that is contrary to Pancasila. In Jombang district, the majority of the population adhere to NU Islam, this is because the founder of NU, KH. Hasyim Asy'ari and KH. Wahab Chasbullah came from Jombang so NU grew rapidly in Jombang. In addition, many large Islamic boarding schools in Jombang have NU affiliations, so that NU and GP Ansor are organizations that are quite respected by the people of Jombang. Therefore, research related to the role of GP Ansor is considered very important considering some of its roles in the struggle, in this case the role of his struggle in defending Pancasila from the September 30, 1965 Movement carried out by the PKI who wanted to replace the Pancasila ideology into Communist ideology and be hostile to religious organizations in Indonesia. one of them was NU and carried out terror against the NU community in Jombang. And in this study discusses the role of GP Ansor in Jombang district in maintaining order after the 1965 G30S / PKI incident and restoring social conditions, security and order in social life in Jombang district. The formulations of the problems to be discussed are 1) What is the situation and conditions in Jombang district after the G30S / PKI incident in 1965-1966 ?, 2) What is the role of the GP ANSOR in the Jombang region in maintaining order and security in Jombang district after the G 30S / PKI incident in 1965-1966?, 3) How was the handling of PKI members in Jombang district in 1965-1966? In this research, the method of writing history is used. The first stage is Heuristics, namely collecting primary and secondary sources. Primary sources include the Archive Documents "Top Leadership of GP Ansor for the September 30, 1965 Movement", Archives of PBNU Letters to the Daily Council of PP GP Ansor on "Decisive Attitudes Against Communism", Interviews with historical actors (senior BANSER who participated in the PKI suppression operation in Jombang and other primary sources, while secondary sources are books such as the book “Palu and Arit in the Sugarcane Field” The forgotten history of mass slaughter, Jombang-Kediri 1965-1966, by Hermawan Sulistyo. Criticism is the second stage which aims to select sources that are suitable The third stage is the interpretation carried out by linking the source and analyzing the source. Historiography is the last stage in writing history. Historiography is the rewriting of the interpretation result in the form of this thesis. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers, it can be concluded that the suppression operation of GP Ansor in Jombang was very small and minimal compared to other areas in East Java, this was because GP Ansor in Jombang carried out the crackdown on only two to three people and the target was only 1 PKI person who made trouble in Jombang and defended that PKI was innocent in the Gestapu incident. After the crackdown was stopped by the Brawijaya Military Command in August 1966, there were no more operations carried out by GP Ansor Jombang and community life gradually normalized but different things experienced by the Ex PKI family apart from social sanctions in the form of ridicule from the community and being slightly isolated from the association of people who could not become officials government or civil servants it continued until 1988 still happening in Jombang.
