PENGARUH PENDEKATAN STS (SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, SOCIETY) TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN SOSIAL SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN SEJARAH KELAS XII MIPA 1 DI SMAN 4 PAMEKASAN

Abstract

This study aims to obtain information on the analysis of the effect of the application of the STS (Science Technology Society) approach on students social skills in history learning and how much influence the application of the STS approach has on students social skills in history learning in class XII MIPA 1 at SMAN 4 Pamekasan. This study uses a quantitative type of research using a one-shoot case study design. The conclusion of this study is based on the results of the analysis of the effect of the STS approach on the social skills of class XII MIPA 1 students at SMAN 4 Pamekasan, the significance value is 0.00 less than 0.05 and the Tcount of 7.409 is greater than the T-table of 2.032 with simple linear regression test results. with the equation Y = 37.893 + 0.569X. From the equation, it is marked (+) which means that the STS approach has a positive effect on students social skills. The magnitude of the influence of the STS approach on students social skills was 61.7% seen from the R Square value of 0.617 so that the more good STS approach is implemented, the more good the students social skills.
