Abstract

History learning fosters students' ability to reconstruct past conditions related to present conditions and to be able to examine changes and values contained in historical events. The difficulty of learning history lies in learning history that tells a lot and does not involve students which has an impact on the emergence of a culture of silence in the classroom. The application of learning models that still use conventional learning causes students to become passive which will affect student learning outcomes. The cooperative listening team type model was developed to improve student learning outcomes. The emergence of learning policies that require online learning to respond to the Covid-19 pandemic has urged the use of technology, one of which is m-learning. So that there is an empirical research on how the effect of the cooperative listening team type model to improve student learning outcomes in history subjects. This study aims to determine the effect of the cooperative listening team type model based on m-learning to improve student learning outcomes in history subjects and how much influence it has. The data collection technique used the observation method, the test method by giving pretest and posttest and the questionnaire method to see student responses. Data processing used homogeneity test and one sample t test. The results of the study showed as follows (1) the implementation of the learning model in meeting 1 the percentage of student activities was 89% and meeting 2 was 92% an increase of 2% with very good criteria. (2) Student learning outcomes show that they have not achieved AKM completeness, namely 80 with an average pretest score of 57.5% with a percentage of 7.5% AKM completeness and an average posttest scoreof 79% with a percentage of 65% AKM completeness.
