Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect and magnitude of the effect of self-efficacy on students' literacy skills in the online learning. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Krian, Sidoarjo with a research sample of class XII IPS 1. This research was quantitative research with experimental methods to determine the effect between variables and using a pre-experimental design with a one shoot case study to determine the influence between variables. Simple linear regression tests and hypothesis tests were used as data analysis techniques. The results showed that there was an influence between self-efficacy on students' historical literacy skills. It was based on the linear regression test Y = 12,302 + 0,070 indicated the resulting effect was positive. Hypothesis testing was using the product-moment correlation test to get the results of two-party hypothesis testing by comparing rhitung and rtabel. The results showed rhitung 0.361 > rtabel 0.324, which showed that there was an influence between the two variables. rhitung which was positive and located in the area of acceptance of Ha showed that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. The results of the product-moment correlation test got a correlation coefficient value of 0.361 which was categorized as low with a significance of 0.033<0.05 thus that the coefficient was significant. The calculation results obtained a low value because it was influenced by the students ability and differences in understanding and in capturing the intent of each question item on the instrument used. the data that was obtained was the original data from the study so that it was natural and random and also unpredictable. The magnitude of the influence among the variables was seen through the value of r Square in the summary table using SPSS of 0.130 or 13% while the 87% of the remaining was influenced by the other factors which wasn't examined in this study. These results mean that self-efficacy has an effect of 13% on the historical literacy ability of students in class XII IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Krian Sidoarjo
