Abstract

The purpose of this reseach was to find out the effect of the discovery learning model based on the edmodo learning platform on the interest in learning history of class X MIA 1 senior high school Labschool Unesa, Surabaya through online learning during the Covid- 19 pandemic. Discovery learning model is a learning process that builds knowledge and understanding students in more depth during the learning process. Based in the Edmodo learning platform which provides various advanced features that help students in online learning.
The discovery learning model based on the Edmodo learning platform is used by reseachers in influencing student’s interest in learning in Indonesian history subjects. This study uses a quantitative method with a linkert scale measurement.This research shows that there is a moderate positive correlation in the discovery learning model based on the Edmodo learning platform towards the interest in the learning history of class X MIA 1 seniro high school Labschool Unesa, Surabaya, which is 60.2% through online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.
