PENGARUH STRATEGI MIND MAPPING MODEL BLENDED LEARNING TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATERI MASUKNYA HINDU BUDHA DI INDONESIA

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out whether the mind mapping model of blended learning strategies has an impact on students in class X IPS SMA Negeri 2 Lamongan's concept understanding . Meanwhile, the objectives of this research are: 1) To find out the effect on the use of mind mapping model of blended learning strategy on students in X IPS SMA Negeri 2 Lamongan’s concept understanding. This study takes a quantitative approach and employs an Experimental Design research design which include a quasi-experimental methodology. Data analysis used simple linear regression yet Y = 9.169 + 0.883. The result of the impact in this study can be seen from the coefficient of determination in the model summary table. The value of the coefficient of determination is 0.366 or 36%. Furthermore, about 64% are the factors that were not considered in this study which was student’ learning interest. As a result, it could be said that the mind mapping strategy of the blended learning model had a positive and significant impact, but low effect on students of X Social Sciences SMA Negeri 2 Lamongan in understanding the concepts with a value of 36% showing the effects on the 3 indicators of understanding the concepts (translating, interpreting, extrapolating) and those students have an average result of 82. It was proved by the average score after the test and the results of the mind mapping task in understanding the concept that students can generate diverse ideas by applying the mixed learning model mind mapping strategy. In addition, it can also add explanations and determine the benchmark words that were being the key to make a correct answer.
