PERKEMBANGAN SEKOLAH DASAR ANTAWIRYA (ANTAWIRYA ISLAMIC JAVANESE SCHOOL) JUNWANGI KRIAN SIDOARJO TAHUN 2015-2021

Abstract

The development of a civilization can be seen in terms of its culture. Civilization was born of course because of education. Therefore, education can be a forum for introducing the culture of a nation to the younger generation, as contained in the Law of the Republic of Indonesia no. 20 of 2003 article 4 paragraph 3 which contains an explanation that education is held as a process of civilizing and empowering students who are lasts indefinitely. This clearly affects the transformation of an increasingly modern culture. The purpose of this study is to understand, analyze and describe the development of education as an effort to preserve local culture. The case study for this research is Antawirya Elementary School (Antawirya Islamic Javanese School). Antawirya Elementary School (Antawirya Islamic Javanese School) is located in Junwangi Village, Krian District, Sidoarjo Regency and is located within the Al-Amanah Modern Islamic Boarding School. This study examines how the development of Antawirya Elementary School (Antawirya Islamic Javanese School) from 2015 to 2021. Therefore, this research has the following problem formulation: 1) What is the background of the establishment of Antawirya Islamic Javanese School? 2) How is the development of Antawirya Islamic Javanese School?. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a crisis analysis study of historical facts such as heuristics, criticism, interpretation and historiography. At the data collection stage, researchers will collect data sources through literature such as documents, books, articles, papers and interviews with the main resource persons, namely the principal of the Antawirya Islamic Javanese School (Antawirya Islamic Javanese School) from 2015 to 2021 regarding research that will be carried out through two sources, namely primary sources and secondary sources. The results of the study stated that the development of Antawirya Islamic Javanese School (Antawirya Islamic Javanese School) gave a new color in the world of education, where this school carried a unique concept by combining the concept of national curriculum education, Islamic boarding schools and the application of Javanese cultural values. So that this has an impact on the character of early age students who are familiar with uploading-ungguh and good manners by habituation to the curriculum approach at school.
