Abstract

he purpose of this study was to determine the effect and how much influence the implementation of the power of two cooperative learning model learning on the motivation of students in history class XI MIPA 5 SMAN 22 Surabaya. This research uses a quantitative approach from a pre experimental design study using a one shoot case study approach. Linear regression test is used in this study in the method of data analysis. Based on the results of the data analysis value in the simple linear regression test is Y = 18.819 + 0.962X. In the two-party hypothesis test by comparing TCount 6,162 > Ttable 2,032 so it can be concluded that there is an influence between the X variable and Y variable. To find the relationship between X and Y variables, the Pearson with the results of the Pearson of 0.726 > 0.05. with a strong positive relationship level category. The magnitude of the influence between the two variables resulted in the value of Rsquare = 0.528 or 52.8%, the remaining 0.472 = 47.2% was another thing that was not investigated.
