PENGARUH MEDIA INSTGRAM BERBASIS STORYTELLING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN LITERASI SEJARAH SISWA KELAS XI IPS SMA NEGERI 1 TARIK

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of storytelling-based Instagram media on students' historical literacy
skills in class XI at SMA Negeri 1 Tarik. This quantitative type of research uses an experimental method approach with
a One-Shot Case Study design. The data collection techniques in this study included an observation sheet on the
implementation of learning using storytelling-based Instagram media, storytelling-based Instagram media usage sheets
in the form, and historical literacy ability test sheets. Cluster sampling with a proportional random sampling approach
was used to obtain a sample of 51 students from 3 class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Tarik. Analysis of the data using the OneSample T-Test, the calculation results obtained are Rcount 3.033 > Rtable 2.00856 with the significance of the 2-tailed gain
being 0.004 <0.05 which indicates the relationship between the two variables. The obtained value of Rcount states that
the average variable data is not the same as the population average and has a positive sign, it is in the acceptance area
of Ha, so that the acceptance area of H0 is rejected. It can be concluded that storytelling-based Instagram media has a
significant effect on historical literacy ability.
