PERKEMBANGAN PENDIDIKAN PONDOK PESANTREN DARUL FALAH KELURAHAN JERUKMACAN KECAMATAN SAWO KABUPATEN MOJOKERTO TAHUN 1995-2019

Abstract

Darul Falah Islamic Boarding School is a boarding school is still developing in the Mojokerto area. At first, Darul Falah Islamic Boarding School was a pesantren that used a classical education system with reference to kitab kuning only. Along with the development of the era, Darul Falah began to implement a modern education system. The problems studied in this study are 1. What is the background of the establishment of Darul Falah Islamic Boarding School from 1995 to 2008. 2. How was the development of Darul Falah boarding school from salafi boarding school to kalaf boarding school in 2008-2019. The research method used is the historical research method with the Milles and Hubberman analysis technique, which has several stages, namely heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The results of this study explain that the development of Darul Falah Islamic Boarding School from year to year is quite significant both in terms of education and development. The peak of development occurred from 2008 marked by the addition of formal education in Islamic boarding schools which initially only had non-formal education, pesantren which initially implemented the classical education system began to shift to a modern education system while maintaining their old culture. The impact given to the surrounding community is also very good, people who were originally only Muslim ID cards began to follow religious worship and with the existence of Islamic boarding schools the economic situation of the community also developed.
