Abstract

The development of sources of information that circulate widely and quickly and is accompanied by the use of technology which is increasing among students has led to abuse in using media on the internet which is one of the main factors in this research, causing consumptive actions in media use, hate speech. Based on the results of observations on history teachers at MAN 1 Kota Kediri, students use technology, but the technology used by students in learning is still not optimal because many students use the internet only to play social media instead of using it for learning, especially learning history. The media used to support learning activities is in the form of conventional learning media. The implementation of these learning media is less effective in the learning process because students tend to get bored, many students do not understand the material provided. So an effective learning media is needed that supports the learning process through Microsoft Teams learning media on digital literacy in history learning in class XI MAN students 1 City of Kediri. This research is a Quasi-Experimental Design with Non Equivalent Control Group Design with pretest-posttest control design. Sampling using purposive cluster sampling technique. The analysis technique uses the Independent Sample T-Test by using a two-tailed hypothesis test and comparing Tcount with Ttable 5.718 > 1.997 with a significance level of 0.00 <0.05, the decision in this study is Ha accepted and Ho rejected so that it can provide conclusions there are differences in digital literacy between experimental class students who are given treatment using Microsoft Teams learning media and conventional learning media. This gives the conclusion that there is an influence of Microsoft Teams learning media on students' digital literacy in history learning for class XI students.
