PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STUDENT TEAMS ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION (STAD) BERBANTUAN MEDIA VIRTUAL TOUR TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR SEJARAH PESERTA DIDIK KELAS XI IPS SMA NEGERI 1 TARIK
Abstract
Historical thinking skills as a characteristic of critical thinking skills typical of history are important for students to have. However, there are still various problems that cause low historical thinking skills of students. This study aims to determine the effect of the STAD type cooperative learning model and virtual tour media on students' historical thinking skills both partially and simultaneously. This research used a quasi-experimental method with nonequivalent control group design. The research population came from students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Tarik. Sampling using non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling model resulted in a sample of 71 students. Data collection techniques used Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) questionnaire sheets, virtual tour media questionnaire sheets, and historical thinking skills tests. To achieve the research objectives, the data generated from the research instruments were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of data analysis showed a linear equation Y = 21.715 + 0.493X? + 0.366X? with a calculated F value of 106.91 > F table. The partial t value also shows a t value of 6.271 for X? and 3.329 for X?. This means that there is an effect of the STAD type cooperative learning model and virtual tour media on students' historical thinking skills partially or simultaneously. This information proves that historical thinking skills can be improved through learning that emphasizes social interaction and the use of appropriate learning media in learning. However, what needs to be remembered is that there are still other variables that affect students' historical thinking skills, but are not explained in the study.
