PENGARUH MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING BERBASIS IT TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SEJARAH PESERTA DIDIK DI SMAN 1 BALONGPANGGANG

Abstract

In the 21st century the development of technology and information has developed very significantly, including in the world of education. In the world of IT education, it has an important role in learning, in which historical learning which is considered boring can be eliminated by discovery learning by means of students discovering their knowledge independently and actively from various available digital learning resources, not just from textbooks. and limited LKS. This study aims to analyze whether there is an influence of the IT-based Discovery Learning Model on the history learning outcomes of students at SMAN 1 Balongpanggang and how much influence it has. This type of research used a pre-experimental design approach in the form of a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design with a class XI-7 sample at SMAN 1 Balongpanggang. Data collection techniques using observation methods, student response questionnaires, and pretest-posttest. Data processing uses the T test and N-Gain scores by obtaining sig (2-tailed) = 0.00 <0.05 and t_count = 2,884 > 0.361 t_table which means IT-based Discovery Learning has a positive and significant effect on improving learning outcomes class XI-7 students at SMAN 1 Balongpanggang with an effect of 77,05%.
