UPAYA PELESTARIAN CANDI PARI DI SIDOARJO SEBAGAI CAGAR BUDAYA PENINGGALAN MAJAPAHIT TAHUN 1994-1999

Abstract

 Preservation or maintenance of cultural heritage must be carried out with due observance of historical value and original form and handling, such as through maintenance, protection, restoration, recreation and counseling activities, and securing both movable and immovable cultural heritage objects. One form of cultural heritage in Sidoarjo Regency is the Pari Temple which has undergone restoration several times. After the restoration was carried out, conservation efforts were carried out in the form of protection, development and utilization of Pari Temple as a Cultural Heritage. This study aims to analyze the efforts to preserve Pari Temple in 1994-1999 through protection, development and utilization activities.
The formulation of the problems in this study are: 1.) How is the protection of Pari Temple as a Cultural Heritage of Majapahit Heritage in 1994-1999? 2.) How was the development of Pari Temple as a Cultural Heritage of Majapahit Heritage in 1994-1999? 3.) How was the use of Pari Temple as a Cultural Heritage of Majapahit Heritage in 1994-1999?. This study uses historical research methods which include heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography.
The results of this study can be concluded that the protective form of Pari Temple refers to several focus studies,namely protection, security, maintenance and restoration. In terms of the development of Pari Temple cultural heritage, it can be seen more deeply through research, revitalization, and conditions. The utilization of Pari Temple in this study refers to several fields, namely religion, education, and tourism.
