Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has diverse cultures, so Indonesia is known as a country that is rich in culture. The culture that is still widely found and practiced is the nyadran tradition, especially for the majority of Javanese people who still practice it. One of the villages that still carries out routine nydranan every year is Sonoageng Village which is located in Prambon District, Nganjuk Regency. In Sonoageng Village, the nyadranan tradition is carried out using a systematic ceremonial procession with the aim of showing the community's gratitude towards Almighty God Who has provided abundant sustenance in the form of abundant harvests and health, apart from being a form of gratitude, the nyadran ceremony procession is also a form of respect and gratitude. Thank you to the danyang or ancestor of Sonoageng Village, namely Eyang Sahid, because of his services, Sonoageng Village was able to stand. The nyadranan ceremony procession in Sonoageng Village was held on Thursday Legi, Friday Pahing evening after the walikan harvest Sonoageng Village's nyadranan ceremony procession began in 1995. Previously there had been nyadranan but they were carried out individually, not together. The Nyadran ceremony procession has undergone many changes, but these changes are getting better and better as the Nyadran ceremony procession continues to develop. All elements of the Sonoageng Village community, from village officials to young people, were involved from preparation to the end of the event, this indicates that all people are aware of the importance of preserving their ancestral culture. The meaning that the data derives from the Nyadranan ceremony procession is in several fields, namely the religious field, the economic field, the social field and the cultural field.
