Abstract

The research activity discussed is regarding the influence of the Problem Based Learning learning
model assisted by the IGTV (Instagram) feature on students' creative thinking abilities. Research was conducted at SMAN
1 Krian, Sidoarjo with a sample of class XI IPS 3. The type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods
to determine the influence between variable. This research uses a Pre-Experimental Design research design with One
Shot Case Study to determine the magnitude of the influence between variables. The analysis technique uses simple linear
regression tests and hypothesis testing. The results of the research show that there is an influence of the Problem Based
Learning learning model assisted by the IGTV (Instagram) feature on students' creative thinking abilities in the
Indonesian history subject class XI IPS 3 at SMAN 1 Krian, Sidoarjo. This is based on the results of the linear regression
test Y = 64.00 + 0.329 showing an influence that produces a positive value. In hypothesis testing using the Product
Moment correlation test, it produces Rsquare > Rtable, namely 0.378 > 0.324, so it can be concluded that there is a
positive and significant influence between the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by the IGTV (Instagram)
feature on students' creative thinking abilities. This proves that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. The results of the
Product Moment correlation test obtained a correlation coefficient value of 0.378 with a significance of 0.025 < 0.05 so
the coefficient is significant. The magnitude of the influence between variables seen in the summary table using SPSS
version 25 shows a value of 0.103 or 10.3%, while the remaining 89.7% is the influence of external factors not examined
in this research. So it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by the IGTV (Instagram)
feature has an influence of 10.3% on students' creative thinking abilities in the Indonesian history subject class XI IPS 3
at SMAN 1 Krian, Sidoarjo.
