HUBUNGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN MARKET PLACE ACTIVITY (MPA) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK PADA MATA PELAJARAN SEJARAH DI SMK NEGERI 1 MOJOAGUNG

Abstract

Learning situations sometimes still often use teacher centered or focus on the teacher and cause students to get
bored or inactive. This has an impact on student learning outcomes, as is the case at SMK Negeri 1 Mojoagung. Seeing
this, an interactive learning model is needed and focuses on student activity so that it can improve the learning
outcomes obtained. Therefore, the solution that researchers can offer is the application of the market place activity
learning model in order to improve the learning outcomes of students at SMKN 1 Mojoagung. The method used in this
research is quantitative with a one shot case study type pre-experimental design. The data collection technique is using
a response questionnaire using the market place activity model, learning implementation sheets, and student worksheets.
The use of the market place activity model was implemented at X MPLB 3, totaling 36 students. The data analysis
technique uses statistical tests with prerequisite tests and continued with hypothesis testing. There is a hypothesis test
that is used to determine the influence and percentage produced by the market place activity model on student learning
outcomes with the help of the one sample T Test. The results found in this research were that the use of market place
activity obtained a percentage of 81.6%. This indicates that the students' response to the use of the market place activity
model was very good. Other results also support the use of this model with a hypothesis test which produces sig 2 tailed
0.00 < 0.05, which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, there is a relationship between the market place
activity model and student learning outcomes. Other opinions also encourage this significant result which is proven
through interviews with students who are enthusiastic about using the market place activity model when learning
history in class. Based on this, the research conclusion is that there is an influence of the market place activity model on
the learning outcomes of class X students at SMK Negeri 1 Mojoagung.
