Abstract
This research discusses the influence of project-based learning models and media applications Kipin School 4.0
on students' critical thinking skills in learning History class XI SMA Labschool Unesa 1. The demands due to the impact
of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era resulted in every human being needing to develop their critical thinking skills which
can be prepared starting from the education level. In developing critical thinking skills in students, the right strategy is
needed in an active learning experience so that it can help students to hone their critical thinking skills. The use of project?based learning model combined with media application Kipin School 4.0 is one of the strategies in improving students'
critical thinking skills. The purposes of this research are to explain the effect of the Project Based Learning model on
students' critical thinking skills in learning history grade XI SMA Labschool Unesa 1; explain the effect of Kipin School
4.0 application learning media on students' critical thinking skills in learning history grade XI SMA Labschool Unesa 1;
Explain the correlation between the Project Based Learning model and Kipin School 4.0 application learning media; and
explain the effect of the Project Based Learning model and Kipin School 4.0 application learning media on students'
thinking skills in learning history grade XI SMA Labschool Unesa 1. This research uses quantitative methods using True
Experimental Design with the use of Posttest Only Control Group Design. While the sampling method was using purposive
sampling. Data analysis techniques in this study used multiple linear regression tests, partial correlation tests, and F tests
with hypothesis tests are two-tailed tests. Based on the results of multiple linear regression tests, the X1 variable obtained
Sig. 0.021 <0.050; t count (2.438) > t table (2.045) so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and there is an influence
between the project-based learning model variables on students' critical thinking skills. While the X2 variable obtained
Sig. 0.000 <0.050; t count (4.202) > t table (2.045) so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and there is an influence
between the Kipin School 4.0 application media variables on students' critical thinking skills. In the partial correlation
test, the sig value results were found. 0.039 <0.050; r count (0.372) > r table (0.355) so it can be concluded that H0 is
rejected and there is a correlation between the project-based learning model variable and the Kipin School 4.0 application
media. In the F test, the sig result was found. 0.000 <0.050; f count (11.252) > f table (3.320) so it can be concluded that
H0 is rejected and there is an influence between the project-based learning model variables together with the Kipin School
4.0 application media on students' critical thinking skills.
