HUBUNGAN ANTARA DUKUNGAN SOSIAL ORANG TUA DENGAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR PADA SISWA MTs ROUDLOTUL HIKMAH WRINGINANOM GRESIK

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidak adanya hubungan antara dukungan sosial orang tua dengan motivasi belajar pada siswa di Mts. Roudlotul Hikmah Wringinanom Gresik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif.. Subyek penelitian ini berjumlah 84 siswa, dengan rincian 42 siswa digunakan untuk tryout dan 42 siswa digunakan untuk pengambilan data. Alat ukur penelitian menggunakan skala dukungan sosial orang tua dan skala motivasi belajar. Analisis data menggunakan korelasi product moment. Instrumen penelitian dalam penelitian ini menggunakan koesioner dengan skala Likert. Skala yang dibuat disusun berdasarkan teori masing-masing variabel dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan bantuan software IBM SPSS 25 for windows. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara dukungan sosial orang tua dan motivasi belajar pada siswa MTs Roudlotul Hikmah Wringinanom Gresik. Hubungan kedua variabel yang searah dapat diartikan bahwa semakin tinggi dukungan sosial orang tua maka semakin tinggi pula motivasi belajar seorang siswa.

Abstract
This study aims to determine relationship between parental social support with student motivation in Mts. Roudlotul Hikmah Wringinanom Gresik. This study used quantitative methods. The subjects of this study were 84 students, with 42 students used for the tryout and 42 students used for data collection. The measuring instrument of the study used a parental social support scale and a learning motivation scale. Data analysis used product moment correlation. The research instrument in this study used a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The scale based on the theory of each variable and analyzed using the IBM SPSS 25 software for windows. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between parental social support with learning motivation in MTs Roudlotul Hikmah Wringinanom Gresik students. The relationship between the two variables that are in the same direction can be interpreted that the higher the social support of parents, the higher the learning motivation of a student.
