Abstract

The process of training physical conditions in sports is a process that must be carried out correctly and in accordance with the components of physical training. Through exercises that are carried out repeatedly, bit by bit and the added intensity, volume of training, and complexity can indirectly affect the athlete's physical condition by itself. This also applies to athletes in karate, especially the kumite category. Therefore, this study aims to determine the appropriate physical biomotor training model for Puslatcab athletes in Tuban Regency in the Kumite category of karate. This research is a type of quantitative research using an experimental model and using 4 respondents. The measurements were carried out using the pretest and posttest methods, which were then tested statistically using a paired t test. The results showed that the level of physical biomotor conditions (speed, agility, endurance, strength, and flexibility) of Puslatcab athletes in Tuban Regency in the Kumite category showed significant changes between the results of the test before and after being given a physical training model. the many training models that have been carried out can provide a positive side to the coach to increase creativity in the preparation of training models and training programs for good physical conditions of athletes.
