ANALISIS PENERAPAN PROGRAM LATIHAN KONDISI FISIK BOLA BASKET UNIVERSITAS CIPUTRA SURABAYA

Abstract

Basketball is an competitive sport that must be supported by technical, tactical, physical and mental readiness. Physical biomotors that need to be trained in basketball tend to be speed, agility, strength, coordination, and endurance, some of these biomotors are interrelated to improve and maintain the abilities and skills of basketball athletes. The physical training program provided is increasingly being improved and carried out systematically and repeatedly within a certain period of time according to each individual with the aim of achieving an increase in sports ability or achievement. This study aims to describe the physical condition training program based on the needs of basketball games and describe the physical condition of Ciputra Surabaya University basketball athletes after being given a physical training program for approximately 9 weeks. This research method used a quantitative descriptive method. The data collection technique used is the test and measurement method. The subjects of this study were female basketball athletes at Ciputra University Surabaya, totaling 7 athletes. MFT is one of the techniques used to collect endurance data, Illinois agility test for agility, 20-meter Sprint Run for speed and Medicine Ball Throw for arm muscle strength. The conclusion of this study is that the physical training program for the Ciputra University Surabaya basketball team usesĀ  the extensive interval (sprint-release) method and a weight training training program, arranged according to the physical biomotor needs of basketball, namely aerobic endurance, speed, agility and strength and the results of the training program has an effect in the form of significantly improving the physical condition of athletes, as evidenced by the results of the post-test which are higher than the pre-test.
