PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN INKUIRI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN SELF-EFFICACY SISWA PADA MATERI POKOK LAJU REAKSI KELAS XI-MIA DI SMA MUHAMMADIYAH 4 SIDAYU-GRESIK (IMPLEMENTATION INQUIRY LEARNING MODEL TO IMPROVE STUDENT’S SELF-EFFICACY IN THE SUBJECT MATTER OF REACTION RATE IN CLASS XI-MIA SMA MUHAMMADIYAH 4 SIDAYU-GRESIK)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan self-efficacy siswa, melalui penerapan pembelajaran inkuiri pada materi pokok laju reaksi kelas XI-MIA di SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Sidayu-Gresik. Rancangan dalam penelitian ini adalah “One-Group Pretest - Posttest Design”. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur self-efficacy siswa adalah lembar angket self-efficacy sebagai instrumen utama dan lembar pengamatan perilaku self-efficacy sebagai instrumen pendukung. Subjek penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 20 siswa di kelas XI-MIA di SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Sidayu-Gresik. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan: 1) Nilai rata-rata self-efficacy siswa berdasarkan hasil angket meningkat dari pretest sebesar 57,07 menjadi 75,15 saat postest ; 2) Nilai rata-rata perilaku self-efficacy siswa mengalami peningkatan setiap pertemuan, yaitu pertemuan 1 sebesar 66,25 ; pertemuan 2 sebesar 78,75 ; dan pertemuan 3 sebesar 93,44

This study aimed to determine the increase student’s self-efficacy through the implementation of inquiry learning in the subject matter of reaction rates in class XI-MIA at SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Sidayu-Gresik. The design of this study is “One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design”. Instrumentused to measure students'self-efficacy is a sheet of self-efficacy questionnaire and a sheet of self-efficacy behavioral observation. The subjects were 20 students in class XI-MIA at SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Sidayu-Gresik. Research results obtained : 1) The average value of student’s self-efficacy based on the results of the questionnaire increased from pretest 57,07 into 75,15 at posttest; 2) The average value of the behavior of student’s self-efficacy has increased every meeting, the first meeting at 66,25; second meeting at 78,75; and third meeting at 93,44.
