PENANAMAN NILAI NASIONALISME MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN PPKn DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER PADA PESERTA DIDIK MADRASAH ALIYAH NEGERI 1 GRESIK

Abstrak

The purpose of this study is to describe the inculcation of nationalism character values ??through Civics learning in MAN 1 Gresik students. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. PPKn teachers as research subjects. Data obtained from interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis used data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and decision making. This study uses the theory Albert Bandura. Bandura mentions that the process affect observational learning, namely attention, remembering, behavior and motivation. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the inculcation of the value of nationalism through Civics learning was carried out in several stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. At the planning stage of inculcating the value of nationalism, namely preparing a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). The implementation stage of instilling the value of nationalism in learning activities is carried out in preliminary activities such as praying and singing nationalism songs together. The core activity is carried out by conveying material related to the value of nationalism, motivating students to always have the value of nationalism, holding discussions together to practice cooperation, tolerance, and respect for opinions, then discussing together the results of the discussion. Closing activities, conclude together, and provide reinforcement the material that has been learned. Don't forget to give a message to always have a nationalist attitude. The evaluation stage planting the value of nationalism, it can be seen that there are no obstacles in the cultivation of the value nationalism and it has been implemented well.
