Abstract

ABSTRACT
Using interactive learning video media was suitable with the characteristics of autism children who were weak in
thinking abstract ability. Learning video media could concrete abstract things. The benefit could be played
repeatedly so that it could enhance the memory of autism children toward the material conveyed. The purpose of this
research were to know the influence of using interactive learning video media toward receptive language ability to
autism children before and after giving intervention and to analyze how great the influence was at once. The
research design used was Single Subject Research (SSR). The data collection technique used was observation and
the data analysis used comparison inside and among condition during baseline phase and intervention phase.
The research design used was Single Subject Research (SSR), using A – B design. The data collection
method used was observation while the data analysis used comparison inside and among condition during baseline
phase and intervention phase. From the result of data analysis inside and among condotion it indicated significant
influence of using interactive learning video media toward the change of target behavior. To baseline phase the
subject showed difficulty in following the instruction ability, recognizing, identifying, and imitating animal’s voice
around so that it added receptive language ability of autism children. The stability tendency for baseline phase and
intervention phase indicated variable result with the percentage for baseline phase 16,7% and for intervention phase
50%. The stability and distance level to baseline phase and intervention phase indicated the unstable data or variable
with baseline distence between 16 and 21 while to intervention phase was between 36 and 62. The change level to
baseline phase and intervention phase both of them indicated positive sign (+) meaning it showed good change.
