Abstract

ABSTRACT
This research was based on the disturbance existence to autism children in understanding number concept so that these children required an exact treatment and appropriated with the autism children’s necessity. The understanding number concept to autism children could be done through a fun activity. One of the activities which could enhance the understanding number concept was electric domino game. This electric domino game was an activity including numbering, matching, and sequencing number 1-10.
This research used quantitative approach with one group pretest and posttest design. The research subjects were 6 autism children in 7-8 years old in the school of special need children of Cita Hati Bunda Sidoarjo. The data collection method with the data analysis technique used statistic non parametric of sign test. The result obtained was Z counted (Zh) = 2,05 and it was compared by sign test of one side 1,96 so that Zh > Z table i.e. 2,05 > 1,96 so it could be stated that Ho was refused and Ha was accepted with the conclusion: there was influence of electric domino usage toward understanding number concept to the first class autism children in the school of special need children of Cita Hati Bunda Sidoarjo.
