Abstract

ABSTRACT
Addition was important to be mastered because addition counting was often used in the daily life. The game which could be used to enhance the learning mathematics result of autism children was traditional game of Bandaran modification. The traditional game of Bandaran modification was a game which could facilitate the autism children in counting addition with fun way. The research purpose was to know the influence of traditional game of Bandaran modification toward learning mathematics result to the second class of autism children in SLB Autis Mutiara Hati Sidoarjo. The research method was quantitative. The data was collected by test, observation and documentation techniques. The test was used to obtain the data about learning mathematics result of autism children before and after giving treatment through traditional game of Bandaran modification, observation technique was used to know the autism children’s condition before and after giving treatment and to observe the autism children during playing tradition game of Bandaran modification while documentation technique was as the proof that this research was really done. The research result indicated that the average value on pretest was 48 and the average value on posttest was 65 so that the Zh value obtained was 2,05 greater than critic value 5% i.e. 1,96. In this way, it could be concluded that the traditional game of Bandaran modification could be used to enhance the result of learning mathematics to the second class of autism children in SLB Autis Mutiara Hati Sidoarjo.
