Abstract

ABSTRACT
Based on the observation there were autism children who had difficulty in scrutinizing skill. Therefore, to enhance scrutinizing skill used integrative approach with power point media. This research had purpose to analyze whether there was influence of integrative approach with power point media toward scrutinizing skill of autism children. The approach used was quantitative approach. The kind of research used was pre experiment. The design used the one group pretest and posttest. This method was used to collect the data i.e. test method. To analyze the research data used analysis technique of statistic non parametric. The research result after giving pretest indicated that the children’s average value was 40,42 and then they were given intervention 8 times with 30 minutes, time allocation for each meeting. They were then given posttest to show that there was change, the children’s score was better with the average value 77,43. From the value above it was then analyzed using sign test formula (Zh) with Z table 5% two sides test 1,96. The value obtained in counting was ZH = 2,04 so that it could be concluded that “there was significant influence of integrative approach with power point media toward scrutinizing skill of autism children”, with Zh value = 2,04 > Z table 5% = 1,96.
