Penggunaan Strategi Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPA Tentang Sifat-Sifat Benda Bagi Anak Tunanetra Kelas III
Abstract
ABSTRACT
Blind children had disorder to think abstract concept. To enlarge knowledge of all abstract concepts should be able to be concreted. In science subject matter, the blind children required understanding science concept about thing characteristics. To obtain full description learning science about thing characteristics needed concrete experience through touch and smell senses. This research had purpose to analyze the influence of inquiry learning strategy toward learning science result about thing characteristics to the third class blind students in SLB-A YPAB Tegalsari Surabaya. The subjects were 6 blind children of the third class in SLB-A YPAB Tegalsari Surabaya. This research kind used pre experiment with one group pre-test post-test design. Based on the calculation of data analysis it could be concluded that α value 0,05 was greater than U table 0,021 (obtained from U counted = 5), so Ho was refused and Ha was accepted. The result of data analysis with wilcoxon two samples test indicated that “there was significant influence of using inquiry learning strategy toward learning science result about thing characteristics to the third class blind students in SLB-A YPAB Tegalsari Surabaya.
