MEDIA BONEKA HORTA (HORTIKULTURA)TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA ANAK AUTIS

Abstract

ABSTRACT
Learning media was very important in learning process. Learning media functioned to enhance the
student’s attention; to give direct experience to the students; to present learning clearly; learning process to
be more interesting; to solve the sense limitedness, space, distance and time. It was hoped that by the right
usage of learning media it could enhance the result of learning science of autism children to the material of
plantation growing. The learning media used was three dimensions media i.e. Horta Doll media
(Horticulture). The research purpose was to prove the influence of Horta Doll media (Horticulture) toward
the result of learning science of autism children.
This research used quantitative approach with one group pre test-post test design. The technique of
data analysis used statistic non parametric, Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test.
The research result indicated that the pre test data obtained was 43,3 and after giving treatment the
post test data obtained was 75 so that the value of T counted = 21,0 > T table (n=6) = 0 that Ha was accepted
and Ho was refused it meant “there was influence of Horta Doll media (Horticulture) toward the result of
learning science of autism children”.
