Abstract

ABSTRACT Children with autism have 3 barriers namely communication, social interaction and behavior. One of these barriers to behavior that occurs in autistic children in special schools Tunas Kasih namely repetitive behaviors repeating the behavior pat hand of the results of field observations on 5 January 2015. Thus the observation of the need for treatment for menimalisasi repetitive behaviors of children with autism by using technique token economic. This research uses Single subject research (SSR) with AB design, data collection techniques are observation and documentation. The data collected from the visual analysis interstate conditions and analysis. This study was conducted ofer 19 sesions, 5 sesions and 14 sesions A baseline for the intervention. From these results the level of stability and range of baseline phase variable data shows 5-3 unstable with a tendency of 60% and stabilized the data showed a tendency 3-0 with 85%. Percentage overlap of 21%. It indicates the effect on the target behavior intervention. Thus we can conclude decrease repetitive behaviors in children with autism through economic tokens.
